South of Central Band got together 5/5/23 as a one time CINCO de MAYO party band for a local Mexican Restaurant. What was a one-time gig is still rocking out!. ( And they said it wouldn't last.) We are a four-piece FUN band with each of us having more than 30 years-experience. And what FUN we have. We play favorite old country, new country, classic rock, and blues. Stapleton, Luke Combs, Tracy Chapman, Doobie Brothers, Skynard , Tina Turner, the late great Jimmy Buffet and all of the rest of your favorites head up our list of tunes we crank out for you.
Jeff Jones is our incredible lead guitarist and vocalist. Tina Michelle is our bass player extraordinaire. Diamond Dave Boyd is our steady stick man keeping us in beat. And, Kim Mollere is our rhythm six-string sista and vocalist. We are seasoned musicians providing you some FUN, UPBEAT, SLOW DANCE music! So, when you are looking for a place to go….always go SOUTH of CENTRAL!
